"We are very happy with the products we received from RedEye. In fact, we are planning on ordering more trays in a different material and in different colors to ensure that we are using an application that meets our needs."

Materials - Polyphenylsulfone (PPSF)

Polyphenylsulfone (PPSF)

PPSF/PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) material has the greatest strength, heat and chemical resistance of all Redeye materials – ideal for aerospace, automotive and medical applications. FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) systems manufacture parts using PPSF/PPSU material that are not only mechanically superior, but also dimensionally accurate, accurately predicting end-product performance. Users can also sterilize PPSF via steam autoclave, EtO sterilization, plasma sterilization, chemical sterilization and radiation. PPSF/PPSU gives you the ability to manufacture Real Parts™ direct from digital files.

PPSF is a high performance, heat and chemical resistant material. Typical applications include automotive, aerospace or any application where your part needs to be functionally tested in an environment of heat or chemicals.

Achievable Accuracy
FDM models are produced within an accuracy of +/- .005 inch (+/- .127 mm) up to 5 inches (127 mm).

Accuracy on models greater than 5 inches (127 mm) is +/- .0015% for both units.

Note: Accuracy is geometry dependent.

Maximum Build Dimensions*

  • 16 x 14 x 16 (inch)

  • 406 x 355 x 406 (mm)

*Larger parts can be built in pieces and bonded if necessary)
